Qualifications Required

Alongside your clear passion, drive, and desire to learn, we ask that you have the following, and in return, we will support you.

- An A-Level, Level 3 or equivalent qualification in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM subject)
- Some familiarity with a modern programming language, ideally object-oriented, such as JavaScript, Python, HTML and web frameworks
- A proven interest in technology and a curiosity to learn
- We offer flexible working with two days in the office per week
- Be happy to travel to the London campus for your off-the-job training at Ada. The off-the-job training is delivered in one-week blocks after your initial first five-week launchpad.

You’ll need to meet the standard eligibility requirements for apprenticeships in England

- You must have lived in the UK or EEA for the last three years

What will stand out to us in your application:

Training to be Provided

Our Level 6 standard is integrated with a degree in Digital & Technology solutions which is validated by the Open University. Each cohort spends their first 6 weeks at college taking part in our Launchpad training.

This training not only covers modules for the degree programme but also ensures to prepare you for the workplace. Following the Launchpad training you will return to your employer for 7-8 weeks returning to Ada for one-week blocks on a rotation basis.

Continuing our partnership with Ada, National College for Digital Skills in London, we will deliver the 3-year BSc Digital and Technology Solutions. You will gain invaluable experience to jumpstart your career supported by our best mentorship and practical experience.

Your Responsibilities
As an Apprentice Technologist, you will work closely with your team, drawing from their knowledge and skills to solve technical problems, aiding our ongoing growth and success.

Over the course of your three-year contract, you will spend approx. 20% of your time training with Ada, The National College for Digital Skills, through a blend of remote and face-to-face training at their campus in London, working towards a BSc Degree in Digital and Technology Solutions validated by the Open University!

After a brief induction period at Ada, you will jump into your off-the-job training, starting with five weeks of training called ‘launchpad’. During the five-week launchpad, you will cover two modules: Systems Development Life Cycle and Computer Programming. You will then return to Digital Catapult full of confidence and ready to apply your newly acquired skills on-the-job, alongside our tech superstars!

We are looking for bright, motivated apprentices with a curiosity and passion to learn new, emerging technologies. You will build leading edge advanced solutions and solve real-world problems and support your colleagues on a variety of projects. You need to be a team player who isn't afraid to get stuck in and participate in problem solving. You’ll work closely with other, experienced technologists and engineers and develop your skills and experience in innovation, technology and business consultancy.
