Qualifications Required

GCSEs or equivalent with Maths and English at grade 4 and above (A-C).
Plus one of the following:
3 A*-C at A-level or Equivalent (STEM subject is an advantage, but not necessary.)
BTEC National or NVQ/SVQ Level 3.
Completed Advanced Apprenticeship (Level 3.)

Tech Consultant Degree Apprenticeship Program in Solution Engineering

This program offers an outstanding opportunity to combine classroom and work-based learning over 3 years. You’ll spend 20% of your time at ADA National College for Digital Skills and 80% at Salesforce (London/remote) as part of the Salesforce Solution Engineering Team. All the content covered at the college and your work with Salesforce will contribute towards a BSc Honours program in Digital & Technology Solutions.

Whilst on the Tech Consultant Degree apprenticeship program, you will be part of a wide apprentice community; spanning across a variety of teams and roles.
You will also have access to the Salesforce Apprenticeship Team who will support you throughout, both personally and professionally.

As a Tech Consultant apprentice, year one will primarily focus on:

Developing a deep understanding of our products and business.
Learning critical soft skills and consulting skills required for the role.
Supporting senior members of the Solution Engineering team with their projects.
Building a network with your apprenticeship cohort and other cross-functional teams.
Acquiring official industry-standard Salesforce certifications.

Years two and three are designed to support your development through hands-on experience working with various teams to give you a rounded view of Salesforce and to build your customer-facing experience.
The Tech Consultant Apprentice Role

As a Tech Consultant apprentice in the Salesforce Solution Engineering team you will work closely with the sales team in the pre-sales motion to understand the customer's business challenges and help the customer digitally transform their business.

Solution Consultants are responsible for designing the Salesforce product offers for our customers. Solution consultants also deliver insights and recommendations to companies looking to transform their customer's experience. Whilst the role does require a level of technical proficiency, knowing the customer’s industry and roles also play an important part in requirements gathering.

Solution Consultant Responsibilities include:

Preparing and delivering technical demonstrations to customers.
Working with sales on customer engagements & be responsible for the technical elements of demonstrations.
Prepare & run sessions to identify customer needs.
